Colin started football...The Scorchers, Peewee age

Colin is an offensive blocker. At his age, he can play with either the 6-7 age group or the 7-9 age group, and because he is so tall compared to the 6 & 7 yr olds, he plays with the bigger kids. There is only one other 7 yr old on the team. It is a little challenging for his motor skill level, but he likes it more and more as the year goes on. I think it is really good for the development of his motor skills. At the begining of the year he would get tackled more often, but now he looks like a pro and we are only two games into the season (there were three pre-season games). His age group and the younger kids are both 2 and 0 so far! Yea scorchers! And, his offensive group scored in the last game. We were so excited. There he is in a huddle (#57)
Scorchers Cheerleaders...so adorable!

MILO...the new addition

Milo is a great dog. He has talents like catching a ball in mid air, fetch, sit, shake, and go to bed. We are very attached after two months.
We tried to give Colin a dog for his birthday in August, but we started looking and found Milo right a way. So we got him in July...and still wrapped up the bed and stuff. The boys on their first walk.

Milo loves his duck.

Camp and campfire

Well, you all are used to me loading these paics out of order. I did a pretty good job, except the first post is supposed to be Our family vacation: Utah 2008. FFor some reason the first post is Camp and campfire. Oh well. Same pics, just a little out of order...AGAIN!
This is the day we set up camp.

Brian
AWH, aren't we cute!
The camp site had this great cover. It was a great source of shade. We had three sites, but this one had a table big enough to fit us all (almost). There is 18 of us. Mom & Tim, Jim, Merri, Jacob, Brian, Kevin, Lori, Shalaco, Charity, Celeste, Spencer, Courtney, Ana, Gabe, Me, Chris, Colin. Wow. That is my siblings and our children and spouses...Crazy bunch of people! We drove 12 hours from California and Jim's family drove from Arizona, and my mom drove from Bakersfield. It is hard to get us all together, but when we do it is total chaos!

Utah 2008

This was our last day there. What a way to end the trip!
Colin was so stoked to ride a quad. He was great! Just like a pro. Chris got stuck giving rides, but I am sure he was lovin every minute of it!
Merri, Celeste & Jacob
Jim brought his paint ball guns so the boys shot off a couple of rounds.

Daddy and Colin driving the big quad
Kevin is such a cutie pie!
Ok, this story is one you don't want to miss! Shalaco brought the dirt board and the boys thought it would be fun to "ski". Well guess who was more than willing to take a ride?! Grandma! My mother was surfing the dirt and that is Shalaco running beside her to make sure she didn't fall. Chris is driving. Funniest thing in the world! Gotta love my mommy!

Colin the stud...almost ran me over when I was taking a photo!

Celeste and Brian
Me and Lori. She drove the first time, then after a while I took over and went solo. What a blast we had! I am not too daring, so I took it easy but boy it is so much fun!
Ana and Lori (my sisters!)

This is back at the Lori's house. Charity and Jacob.

Brian and Spencer
Gabe and Charity, my oldest niece (13) and nephew (12). I don't know how they got so old, I haven't aged a day!
Packing up to leave :(

Our Family Vacation: Utah 2008

This is us leaving for Utah. The boys are so excited (because they don't realize how horrible it is to be in the car for 12 hours!)

The great driver...Ana started, but Chris drove through the night and fell asleep as soon as we got there.
